CHEEZE & BEET CROQUETAS

INGREDIENTS

1/2 tub Humble Seedz Cream Cheeze Garlic & Herb

2 Beets – approx. 200g

1/2 cup Chickpea flour

1/2 cup Regular unbleached flour

1/2 cup Breadcrumbs

1/2 cup Milled flax seed

2 Tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil

An impressive appetiser packed with flavour! Can be served warm or cold.

 

HOW TO MAKE

Begin by peeling and grating the beets. Place the grated beets in a bowl, along with half a container of your cream cheeze. Get a hand in there, and mix it up thoroughly, into a large “dough’ ball. Refrigerate for 30 minutes until cold and easy to handle when moulding into balls.

Make small balls the size of walnuts. prepare three plates. The first with a mix of the chickpea and regular flour. The second with olive oil, and the third with a mix of breadcrumbs and flaxseed.

Roll each ball in the flour mix, then coat with olive oil, and final roll in the breadcrumb / flax mix, making sure the balls are well coated.

Place on a baking tray, and bake in a pre-heated oven at 350ºF for approx. 25 minutes.

Makes approx. 15 balls
